  • I have a back injury, is it ok to do yoga? Yes, but get medical advice first. Inform your yoga teacher so that modifications can be made. 

  • What are chakras? These are energy centres in the body that relate to the systems and organs. 

  • What is mantra and why do you chant? It is specific words and sounds that change the consciousness of the mind and the chemistry of the brain. 

  • Is Kundalini Yoga a religion or cult? No, it is a technology for health and consciousness and is practiced by people of all faiths. 

  • What do I need? A yoga mat, loose fitting clothes, a blanket, and a bottle of water.
