'Beautiful & Wonderful Me' - A Kundalini Yoga workshop for self-love

As Valentine's Day approaches the focus is on romantic love, but what about the unconditional love and connection we feel for ourselves. Do we think about this, do we honour it, and do we put ourselves first?

​

Many of us spend years basing our self-worth on whether we meet the standards that are set by the media and social conditioning. We often look for love externally which impacts our ability to form a healthy relationship with ourself and to others.

 

This workshop is aimed at reconnecting to our true authentic self through self-love and compassion to enable deep healing to occur. We will look at the concept of beauty and who sets the standard of the 'perfect image.' We will consider the messages we tell ourselves and whether this limits our ability to truly connect, accept and honour who we are.

In this heart centred workshop you will work on opening the heart to activate your inner light and radiance. Now is our time to stand tall, walk in our beauty and live in our grace.

​

Allow yourself some 'ME' time to reconnect and nurture the most important, sacred and long lasting relationship of all: the one with yourself.

​

Come and enjoy an afternoon full of self love and leave feeling fresh and vitalised.

You will experience:

  • A yoga kriya (set of exercises with a specific outcome)

  • Pranayama (connection to breath)

  • Meditation

  • A sense of love and connection

  • Mirror work with self-affirmation

  • Self-care practices

  • Skincare nourish & cleanse

  • A deep sense of relaxation

After a short break with yummy vegan snacks we will resume and think about our own self-care with a short questionnaire, complete a 'love list', and nourish & cleanse our skin.

Kundalini yoga is for anyone, whether you are new to yoga, or super experienced!

​

What shall I wear/bring -

  • Loose fitting clothes that allow you to feel comfortable and move freely.

  • Mats and props are provided.

  • A journal/notepad if you would like to record your thoughts/feelings at the end of the practice.

  • A bottle of water

Welcome to Spring, the perfect time for cleansing, especially for the liver!

 

Did you know that your liver is one of the most important organs for renewing, cleaning and energising the body?

Each year as Spring approaches we often focus on deeply cleansing our environments, dusting off the winter blues and getting rid of all the things we no longer need. We often forget that our body needs a Spring cleanse too!

 

Spring represents a new beginning and a time to refresh the mind and body. Spring is also associated with the wood element, which refers to growth and nourishment in the body.

 

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) values the liver as one of the most important organs in the body. Although it has many functions, one of the main jobs of the liver is to spread and regulate qi (energy flow) throughout the rest of the body, as well as absorbing nutrients and detoxifying the blood.

 

If your liver qi is weak, the smooth flow of qi & blood around the body can be disrupted & start to cause stagnation. This stagnation can build up in the muscles which can lead to toxic overload.

In this energising workshop, we will focus on flushing out the winter congestion, regaining our vitality & feeling a sense of renewal & balance.

 

You will experience:

  • Movement to stimulate the flow of qi around the body

  • Pranayama for cleansing

  • Kundalini yoga to stimulate and cleanse the liver

  • Cleansing of your skin using natural skincare products (optional)

  • Learn some facial and/or hand reflexology points to help the body cope with the effects of stress

  • Yoga nidra to encourage the body to relax and rebalance

 

The liver is believed to be closely connected to the mind. Because of this, when your mind is at peace, your liver is able to function properly. Taking time to rest your mind can help your liver function at its best.

 

What shall I wear/bring?

  • Loose fitting clothes that allow you to feel comfortable and move freely

  • A journal/notepad if you like to record your feelings

  • A bottle of water

  • An open mind and a smile!

Kundalini Rebirthing Workshop - Recharge, Reset & Balance. Clear the clutter from the mind & plant the seeds of intention for the coming year.

Here is your invitation to take yourself on a journey to release old habit patterns & plant your intentions for the coming year.

A chance to recharge your batteries, releasing the old and bringing in the new!

Rebirthing works by clearing the clutter from the subconscious mind and creates the foundation for change. Rebirthing helps to release old habit patterns, thought patterns, behaviours and belief systems that can often hold us back. Rebirthing is a form of letting-go of the old and welcoming in the new!

​

We will work with the breath to help dissolve subconscious blockages and clear out negative energy. We will practice posture to support the nervous and glandular systems, and to balance the chakras. We will practice a meditation for prosperity and will experience the beautiful sound of the gong.

​

After a short break, with yummy vegan treats, we will experience a yoga nidra guided relaxation to plant the seeds of intention for the coming year. You will then have the opportunity to journal your thoughts and intentions and/or complete a self-care assessment to support you going forward.

​

Kundalini yoga is for anyone, whether you are new to yoga, or super experienced; you work with the capacity of your own body.

​

Come and relax in a safe space and spend quality time with yourself and others. Come and meet likeminded women, share life experiences, attend workshops, and do gentle exercises that align your body, mind, and spirit.

Practices:

Yoga

You'll experience the transformational impact of kundalini yoga - the yoga of awareness, which will optimise your well-being. You will be led through yogic breathing techniques, postures, meditation practices and relaxation, all aimed at calming busy, overthinking minds, releasing stress and anxiety, and bringing the body back into alignment.

Coaching

Our coaching sessions are designed to help you to recognise and  understand what is really important to you, your values and beliefs and how they impact our everyday lives, relationships, health, careers etc..

We will support you in setting realistic goals for yourself and taking the next steps in your professional or personal life.

Our exercises will  examine your thought processes and self-limiting beliefs and offer you techniques to improve your overall well-being.

Workshops:

Taster One-to-One coaching sessions will also be available.

We will be running three workshops:

Nourishment

The food we choose to eat can fuel us in different ways. It can increase or deplete our energy, help us sleep or keep us awake, balance our hormones & the organs in our body and satiate our cravings!

​

The menu will offer healthy, nourishing food and will be predominantly vegetarian (vegan options available) and prepared with love. Practice conscious eating together in a relaxed environment away from the usual distractions of life.

​

Food will be provide by Clem's Caribbean (not all food will be Caribbean themed)

 

Full menu will be finalised once booking is complete.
